Minutes of the Meeting

Agenda: Discussion and Finalization of AngloNet Platform Operations

  1. AngloNet Management: The platform will remain a networking platform under the management of Craig Gomes. It will not transition into an organization or association with committees.
  2. Free Registration: Registration and membership will be offered free of charge to accommodate individuals who may be unemployed or seeking job opportunities.
  3. Accessible Information: Members will have access to job listings upon signing up and logging in. They can view available jobs and apply accordingly.
  4. Job Posting: Members with job opportunities or projects can post openings for other members. Once a position is filled, it must be marked as closed.
  5. Business Listings: Members with businesses can list their ventures on the platform, making them globally visible even to non-registered members. Listings will be indexed on search engines for easy discovery.
  6. Listing Fee: Businesses can list for ₹500/year, payable via bank transfer, payment gateway, or UPI apps. Once payment is received, businesses can complete a form for listing.
  7. Business Index: Listed businesses will appear on the platform’s business index.
  8. Revenue Allocation: Proceeds from business listings will be allocated towards platform growth and enhancement.
  9. Website Expenses: Current website expenses exceed ₹15,000 INR. Donations are welcomed to sustain website operations.
  10. Membership Criteria: Membership is open to Anglo-Indians with at least one Anglo-Indian parent.
  11. Membership Directory: A private directory will allow members to connect and access information about other members.
  12. Zero Tolerance Policy: Politics and discrimination based on religious beliefs are strictly prohibited. Violators will face immediate banning.
  13. Support Initiatives: Individuals in need of assistance can reach out to the admin. Fundraisers will be set up, allowing willing contributors to connect directly and provide support. AngloNet will not act as a mediator.
  14. Monthly Meetups: Regular online meetups will be held to foster community engagement and networking.

These minutes are recorded for documentation purposes and will serve as a reference for future discussions and actions.
